My Story
Experienced Mentoring Professional
One of my biggest pet peeves in life is hearing the all too common phrase, “I can’t.” I have seen so many lives severely limited by fears of the unknown.
I was raised by poor, working-class parents with a stay-at-home mother and a “work yourself to the bone” father. They taught me about hard work, honesty, and perseverance. Somewhere along the way, I discovered I could literally do anything I put my mind to. As I look back at the directions my life took I can see a mentor here and there, giving me words of encouragement and a little guidance when I needed it most. After my first attempt at college, I ended up in a job that left me feeling empty inside. I knew I was capable of so much more. Once again, a mentor showed me some guidance when I needed it most. I went back to college at the age of 39 and got a Master's Degree in Public Administration from BYU. This new course I am now on has changed my life. I would never have believed this was possible when I was younger. I lacked vision. I lacked direction. Were it not for good parents and timely mentors along the way, I would not be where I am today.
I am now in a position where I am a mentor, molded from the examples of my past with new, current, relevant, and timely experiences to lead YOU into the future. I am now that guide to help you see the awesome inside of you, as so many before me saw the HERO within and showed me my unlimited potential.
My approach is very straightforward. I give you the tools, and training to help you unlock the motivation, and desire to reach your true potential.
